The Maidstone is a cool new hotel in New Orleans that opened in 2025. Nestled on Tulane Avenue, it thoughtfully transformed a 1950s roadside motel into a chic urban escape. Refreshed by New York-based Studio Tre, the interior brings back a nostalgic mid-century design. The 18 guest rooms are crafted with custom birch millwork, cork floors, and tapestries by Oaxacan artist Ismael Gutierrez Montano.
At the heart of the hotel is its breezy outdoor saltwater pool, flanked by loungers and vibrant shades. The pool and garden courtyard offer the perfect place to hang out or unwind. You will also find The Maidstone Lounge inside the lobby, which serves crafted cocktails and pool bites by local food companies.
