The Chloe is one of the best boutique hotels in the Garden District in New Orleans. Located in Uptown, the historic 4-star hotel is hidden inside a 19th-century mansion, originally designed by architect Thomas Sully. Led by local decorator Sara Ruffin Costello, the interior is refurbished with a moody Southern Victorian aesthetic, featuring rich vintage furnishings and bespoke objects and antiques.
The Chloe offers just 14 guest rooms. They come in a much more simplistic design, featuring cream-white walls, sophisticated wooden furnishing, and navy touches. They also come with elevated amenities like Italian linens, Five Wits toiletries, Piety & Desire chocolates, and Apple TV.
Behind the mansion, you will find an idyllic checkered-tiled pool with multiple pale pink loungers, umbrellas, and greenery. There is also a poolside bar serving a range of small bites and tropical drinks. For more formal meals, you can head to The Chloe’s all-day restaurant. Helmed by chef Todd Pulsinelli, the in-house kitchen presents a seasonal menu with a modern Creole flair.
