Shiroiya Hotel is a unique design boutique hotel in Japan. Renovated in 2020, the cool 4-star hotel in Maebashi is an eclectic combination of design, architecture, and art. Behind a white ’70s facade, you will enter a soaring central atrium with concrete beams, greeneries, and lighting pipes weaving throughout. The space feels contemporary, rustic, and somehow futuristic.
Envisioned by multiple designers, the 25 guest rooms of Shiroiya Hotel come in a plethora of styles. Some have exposed brass pipes, some come with raw concrete ceilings, while some are outfitted completely in wood. They are finished with curated artwork from different artists.
During your stay, you will have access to three relaxing saunas on site. You will also find a restaurant inside Shiroiya Hotel. Created by chef Hiro Katayama and Hiroyasu Kawate, the RESTAURANT showcases a tasting menu that celebrates the flavors of local heritage ingredients.
