Scribner’s Catskill Lodge is an idyllic boutique hotel in the Catskills of the Hudson Valley. Perched on a lush hillside in Hunter, it transformed a 1960s motor lodge into a luxury getaway. Working with Brooklyn studio Post Company, the interior showcases a modern interpretation of traditional mountain lodges. It is the perfect basecamp for exploring Hunter Mountain.
Scribner’s Catskill Lodge offers 49 guest rooms, suites, and luxury cabins. Their design revolves around calming neutral hues, each outfitted with bespoke furnishing, dark maple floors, vintage rugs, curated objects, and a terracotta-tiled shower. The newly added round cabins are a standout, all featuring a Japanese soaking tub and a private outdoor lawn or deck.
The centerpiece of Scribner’s Catskill Lodge is its outdoor pool with scenic mountain views. The hotel also features many other facilities, including a cozy library & lounge, a sauna, a kids’ zone, a rink, a garden, and more. Prospect Restaurant & Bar will be in charge of your culinary experience. Opening all day, the al-fresco venue offers New American fare using fresh local produce.
