Paramount House Hotel is a luxury design boutique hotel in Sydney, Australia. Situated in Surry Hills, it is housed inside a historic brown brick building, formerly the headquarters of Paramount Picture Studios in the 1940s. Led by architecture studio Breathe, the property has been transformed with an industrial warehouse aesthetic, featuring ample brass accents and exposed walls.
Paramount House Hotel offers 29 one-of-a-kind guest rooms and suites, each designed uniquely according to the structure of the original building. Much like the public spaces, their design revolves around a modern industrial charm. Besides, you will find upscale amenities such as a terrazzo bathroom, luxurious Aesop toiletries, a TV, a curated minibar, and more.
The gastronomy at the Paramount House Hotel is spectacular. In the basement, Poly is a bistro that specializes in grilled dishes, while Paramount Coffee Project offers specialty coffee and classic all-day meals. Make sure you also check out Golden Age Cinema & Bar, the building’s old screening room that has been transformed into a venue that offers drinks, films, and live music.
