Monastik Living in Athina is one of the best design boutique hotels in Athens, Greece. A project by architectural duo George Gavalas and Giannis Mourikis, the apartment-style hotel is housed inside a sleek, dark grey building. Echoing its facade, the interior embraces a stylish, dark, and earthy palette.
Monastik Living offers 11 intimate guest suites, each designed individually. They are draped out in moody shades of grey and mauve, complemented by elegant contemporary furnishing and curated objects. They also have a fully-equipped kitchenette, which is perfect for extended stays. The penthouse suite is a notable standout, which comes with a private rooftop lounge and plunge pool.
A major highlight of Monastik Living is its rooftop terrace, featuring a jetted outdoor pool with uninterrupted Acropolis views. There are also ample daybeds and loungers for you to unwind. There are no dining venues on-site, but you can easily cook in your room or explore the restaurants nearby.
