MONA Pavilions

Hobart, Australia

MONA Pavilions is a unique design boutique hotel in Hobart, Tasmania. The luxury avant-garde hotel is presented by MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), the largest privately funded museum in the Southern Hemisphere. Located beside the museum in Berriedale, it comprises multiple sculptural contemporary pavilions overlooking the River Derwent and beyond.

MONA Pavilions offers 8 exclusive pavilions (one-bedroom or two-bedroom), each designed uniquely and named after an influential Australian artist. While they are each different, their design mostly revolves around a modern industrial theme. They also feature colorful furnishing, comfy king bedding, a kitchen, a full laundry, a TV, free wifi, and artwork from the Mona collection.

In addition, MONA Pavilions features a relaxing heated indoor pool with floor-to-ceiling windows, a relaxing sauna, and a compact gym. For meals, The Source Restaurant is a stylish contemporary restaurant that showcases a France-influenced menu with seasonal Tasmanian produce.
