Michelberger Hotel is one of the best design boutique hotels in Berlin, Germany. Located in Friedrichshain, it is housed inside a historic 19th-century factory building. Echoing its facade, the hotel incorporated ample industrial influences across the interior. Designed by Danish architect Sigurd Larsen, the lobby features exposed concrete columns, rustic furnishing, and 1960s-inspired lighting.
Michelberger Hotel offers 100 accommodations, coming in a variety of configurations. The 23 newly-designed guest rooms are a notable standout. Based on different shades of grey, they are each crafted with chic industrial furnishing, modified plywood panels, and terrazzo tiles.
Culinary is the last thing you will have to worry about at Michelberger Hotel. Opening all day, the eatery spans from the indoor to the central courtyard. You will find a seasonal menu made with local produce from sustainable farmers, suppliers, and its own Michelberger Farm in Spreewald.
