Hotel Sou is a unique boutique hotel on Fukue Island of Japan, the largest island of the Goto Islands. Located in the heart of the Fukue shopping district, the design hotel occupies a narrow 1980s concrete house. Blurring the concept between indoor and outdoor, the exterior walls have been removed to create a one-of-a-kind immersive living experience.
Hotel Sou offers just 3 guest rooms. They are contemporary, rustic, and chic. The exposed concrete walls set the tone for the space, stylishly finished with minimalistic wooden and metal furnishing. The broken-down outfacing walls and overgrown greeneries bring an even more eclectic personality to the space. Located at the edge of the room, the semi-open-air space has been transformed into a bathroom that offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
