HOTEL PROVERBS Taipei is a unique design boutique hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. Designed by Ray Chen + Partners Architects, the upscale hotel is situated inside a contemporary glass architecture with a black metal screen overlay. Inspired by the artwork of Francisco Goya, the interior showcases a gothic & rustic aesthetic with wooden floorings and dark-themed furniture.
The same theme can be found across the 42 chic guest rooms and suites. The moody lighting, chandelier lamps, and vintage-style furnishing come together cohesively to create this dark and dramatic design. They all feature plush bedding, a bathtub, a writing desk, a TV, coffee facilities, and free wifi. Some rooms are also equipped with a small private balcony or terrace.
A notable highlight of HOTEL PROVERBS Taipei is its tranquil rooftop pool with day beds and greenery. It is the perfect place to go for a dip or unwind. The gastronomy at the hotel is also spectacular. Helmed by Fudy Chen, L’IDIOT RESTAURANT is a refined restaurant with some of the best steaks in the city. On the other hand, East End is an award-winning al-fresco bar.
