In collaboration with architecture studio Lake Flato, the design hotel is heavily inspired by the city’s lake houses and music scene. Opened in 2021, it occupies five buildings crafted primarily from timber. The interior feels cozy and modern, featuring white oak furnishings, mid-century decor, and curated objects.
Hotel Magdalena offers 89 studios and suites in a plethora of styles. Their design revolves around a minimal white and wooden palette, complemented by playful furnishing, concrete floors, and a vibrant ceramic tiled bathroom (think bright red, green, blue, and yellow). They also feature amenities such as custom Sferra linens and Sangre de Fruta bath products.
At the center of Hotel Magdalena, you will find a tranquil 900-square-foot outdoor sunken swimming pool. Feel free to go for a swim or unwind at the plush loungers. You can also grab a complimentary loan bike and explore the neighborhood. For meals and drinks, Summer House on Music Lane is an all-day dining venue serving a mix of casual and sophisticated dishes.
