Hotel Kansas City is one of the best historic boutique hotels in Kansas City, Missouri. It is housed inside the Kansas City Club near the Power & Light District, one of the Midwest’s premier social clubs in the 1920s. Echoing the ivory facade, the interior evokes an old-world grandeur with modern touches.
The Beaux-Arts building is now home to 144 guest rooms and suites. They feel elegant and serene, each designed with Victorian-inspired furnishings, a Carrara marble bathroom, pastel pink accents, and brass fixtures. We particularly love the unique loft-style suites that come with a four-poster bed.
Another standout of Hotel Kansas City is its culinary experience, currently with four spectacular outlets on-site. Our favorite includes The Town Company by chef Johnny Leach, which showcases a modern take on traditional local recipes. The hotel also features a 24-hour gym if you want to break a sweat.
