Hotel Emma is a historic boutique hotel located just north of downtown San Antonio, Texas. The luxury 5-star hotel is transformed from the original Pearl’s Brewhouse, a Second Empire-style landmark constructed in 1894. With the help of design studio Roman and Williams, the interior showcases a rustic vintage charm that beautifully blends historic elements with modern references.
The 146 guest rooms and suites are split between the original Brewhouse tower and River Cellars, coming in a wide variety of styles. The rooms come in a more classic neutral design, while the suites showcase the original stonework and ceilings of the building. Besides, they are each equipped with modern amenities like Frette linens, Malin + Goetz toiletries, a TV, and free wifi.
Despite being a historic hotel, Hotel Emma features a stunning rooftop pool deck with lounge beds and umbrellas. You will also find a 1960s beer delivery truck that has been transformed into a unique poolside bar. If you want to break a sweat, feel free to check out the on-site fitness center.
There are currently three dining and drinking venues inside Hotel Emma. Supper led by chef Ned Elliott is an American bistro with a seasonal menu. On the other hand, Sternewirth is a rustic and stylish tavern and club room serving a variety of beverages and small plates.
