De Durgerdam

Amsterdam, Netherlands

De Durgerdam is a small luxury boutique hotel in Amsterdam. Tucked away in Durgerdam, it is a tranquil retreat secluded from the bustling city. Working with studio Aedes, it restored a 17th-century inn at the waterfront of Lake IJmeer. Behind the historic white facade, the interior presents a nostalgic charm with moody colors and a mix of modern and vintage elements.

De Durgerdam offers 14 intimate guest rooms and suites. Their design revolves around muted shades of olive, ochre, and terracotta, accented by elegant vintage furnishing, curated artwork, and ceramic bathroom tiles from Tichelaar. You will also have all your essentials, including Hypnos beds and Zenology toiletries, local treats, a yoga mat, and more.

Besides, you will find De Mark, the lakeside restaurant & bar of De Durgerdam. Helmed by chef Koen Marees, the in-house kitchen offers reimagined classics using fresh, local, and seasonal produce. During your stay, you can also rent a Veloretti bike and explore around the idyllic village. Feel free to go for a rejuvenating swim at the scenic IJmeer Lake as well.
