Chicago Athletic Association Hotel is a gorgeous historic boutique hotel in the Downtown Chicago. The luxury 4-star hotel is housed inside a Venetian Gothic-style building, designed by Henry Ives Cobb in 1893 as a private athletic club. In collaboration with New York studio Roman + Williams, the building was revived beautifully with a nostalgic 19th-century design.
Taking cues from the traditional clubrooms of athletic associations, the 241 guest rooms and suites feature an elegant white and brown palette, accented by vintage-inspired furnishing and carved details. They also come with luxurious amenities, including a Carrara marble bathroom with premium fixtures, C.O. Bigelow bath amenities, and bespoke linens and blankets.
During your stay, you will have access to a well-equipped 24-hour gym. Chicago Athletic Association Hotel is also known for its exceptional culinary experience, featuring 7 quality dining venues on-site. The crown jewel is none other than Cindy’s, a rooftop restaurant with a seafood-inspired menu. For drinks, the Game Room is a playful bar transformed from the original billiards room.
