Casona Los Cedros is a design boutique hotel in Espita, a small town in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. It is part of an architectural project to revive an old colonial building that was abandoned for thirty years. Led by architect Laura Lecué, the building was refurbished with an elegant contemporary charm.
Casona Los Cedros showcases 8 beautiful guest rooms and suites. Taking cues from the original building, they are designed with a neutral palette using traditional materials like stone, natural fiber, wood, and chukum. They are also equipped with meticulous furnishing and a private terrace.
The highlight of Casona Los Cedros is its idyllic outdoor pool, nestled inside the renovated tropical garden. There is also an exceptional dining venue on site. Led by chef Jorge Ildefonso, the CASONA restaurant & bar presents a refined menu curated from fresh local produce.
