Casa Silencio is one of the most unique luxury boutique hotels in Mexico, nestled in the rugged mountains near Oaxaca where mezcal is made. Occupying 16 acres of land, the owner constructed a hotel that allows guests to learn more about mezcal production. Designed by architect Alejandro D’Acosta, it comprises multiple contemporary houses constructed with clay, reclaimed wood, and steel.
Casa Silencio offers 6 exclusive guest rooms, each designed with a different personality. They all share a chic and rustic charm, accented by meticulous furnishing by local artisans. You will discover bespoke pieces such as distressed leather furniture, hand-woven wool rugs, velvet upholstery, copper lamps, artwork, and artisanal candles. They come with all your essentials as well.
During your stay at Casa Silencio, you will get to tour the sustainable mezcal distillery on-site and see how mezcal is made. You will also get to try out different special edition Mezcals. For meals and drinks, the award-winning kitchen led by chef Daniel Robles presents an upscale contemporary menu.
