Basq House is a new boutique hotel in Byron Bay, New South Wales. Opened in April 2024, the charming hotel occupies a modern new building in the town center. Styled by local designer Léo Terrando, the interior features a colorful modern charm with Moroccan Riads influences.
The 32 open-plan guest rooms opt for a more simplistic design. They come in a white and wooden theme, finished with modern furniture, exposed concrete ceilings, brass fixtures, and deep red bathroom tiles. Many rooms are also equipped with a private Juliette or full balcony.
In addition, Basq House features an outdoor courtyard pool with daybeds and cabanas. In addition, you will have access to a cozy library, a lounge, Lekker bikes, and surfboards. There are no formal restaurants on site, but a drinks and snacks menu is served throughout the public areas.
